Accessibility Statement

Woodside Studios is committed to making our website accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We want every artist, client and visitor to be able to browse our services, listen to beats, view our portfolio and make bookings without barriers.

This statement applies to: https://www.woodsidestudios.uk/

Our commitment

We aim to follow recognised best practice for accessibility and are working towards conforming to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA as our target standard.

We regularly review the site as we add new content and features, with accessibility in mind.

Measures we take

To support accessibility, Woodside Studios:

  • Uses a responsive layout, so content adapts to different screen sizes.

  • Uses clear headings and structure to help screen readers and keyboard users navigate.

  • Aims for sufficient colour contrast between text and backgrounds where possible.

  • Provides text alternatives for images that convey important information.

  • Uses consistent navigation across pages (Home, Services, Work, About Us, Beat Store, etc.).

  • Builds interactive elements (such as forms and buttons) with clear labels.

Parts of this website

Our site currently includes:

  • Home – overview of Woodside Studios, services and publishing suite.

  • Services – information and booking options for recording, mixing, visuals and other services.

  • Work / Portfolio – audio and visual examples of projects we’ve worked on.

  • Beat Store – a catalogue of beats, with audio previews and purchase options.

  • About Us – information about the studio, team and philosophy.

We are working to ensure that all of these areas are accessible and usable.

How accessible this website is

We know that some parts of this website are not yet fully accessible. For example:

  • Some interactive components (such as the beat player, mini-player dock and filters) may be more difficult to use with a keyboard or screen reader.

  • Some visual elements and images may not yet have complete or meaningful alternative text.

  • Some colour combinations and small text may be harder to read for users with low vision.

  • Embedded or third-party tools (for example, external payment gateways or WhatsApp links) may not fully meet the same accessibility standards as the rest of the site.

We are actively improving these areas as we develop the site.
